On this property once stood an old farmhouse where a beautiful young woman was to be wed. Her fiancee, however, left her standing along at the altar. So overcome with grief, the woman went to her bedroom and hanged herself--still wearing her wedding dress. She is a friendly ghost and has been seen by many employees of the present club.



Baldoon Castle

Bladnoch, Scotland

In the small riverside town of Bladnoch, Scotland, the town’s one road takes visitors close to the ivy-draped ruins of Baldoon Castle. Point Lookout State Park

St. Mary's County, Maryland

A former Civil War prison camp, Camp Lincoln is haunted. The lighthouse, which is no longer in use, is also plagued by paranormal activity. There are stories of a woman who hunts for a grave, asking passers by to help her find it. A general is also known to haunt the fort proper; his faint voice is often heard and his figure is often seen.



Devil’s Road

Monmouth, Illinois

The road is marked by the sign of the devil--666--atop a dead end sign at the end of the street. Allegedly, the grim reaper stands in the middle of the road as cars approach. Just as the car is about to mow him over, the reaper vanishes into a puff of smoke. When the victims return the next day, burn marks tell exactly where the reaper appeared. Also on the road is Haunted Bridge. Legend says that young couple came around the curve too fast and fell of the bridge to a watery grave. It is alleged…



Braemar Golf Course

Edina, Minnesota

It is said that this golf course is haunted by an apparition named Jim. It is said that when the land was cleared to build the course, a homeless black man was discovered. Soon the man died. Since that time, it has been said that balls go into holes and come back out. It is also said that sometimes balls will roll in a straight line and suddenly veer off suddenly to the right or left.



Guthrie’s School for Boys

Guthrie, Oklahoma

Guthrie's School for boys was once a youth detention center, but is now abandoned. It is said that a dark figure now haunts the bell tower located in the center of the school.
